MSKS is a leading non profit organization dedicated to improving women's lives in the northern state of India, Punjab. Since its inception in 1999, the Samiti has been active in the area in various fields of community socio economic development to bring a change in poverty conditions of artisans, weaker section children and women with the help of various Government departments.
Every year, Samiti runs campaign for save the girl child, women's reproductive and child health program, crèche centers for children of working women, awareness camps for making women aware of their rights. Samiti also provides vocational training to women so that they can become independent. With the help of Government agencies, Samiti helps these women sell their handicraft products in exhibitions throughout India. |
